The Grenora Yearbook staff will accept Valentine Crush orders until 4:00 p.m., Thursday, February 8. Send forms and money to the school office or to Mrs. Paine's room by that time. Checks may be written to GPS with Yearbook written on the memo line.
Just a reminder that there is a PAPA meeting tonight at 7pm in the school cafeteria! Some of you may be saying What is PAPA? PAPA: Parents After Prom Association Who is it for? parents who have students in grades 8th-12th. What do we do? Plan activities for after prom to provide a fun and safe event for the kids in grades 8-12. We also raise funds throughout the year to help with the costs of that and to buy prizes for all the students who attend the after prom party along with their dates as well. How can you get involved? There are many ways!! One is If you have a student in grades 8-12 we would love to have you come this evening to our meeting at 7pm in the cafeteria. We will be discussing and finalizing the details for the 2024 after prom party! We have something fun and new planned for the kids this year! Other ways is helping out when we do fundraiser events such as selling raffle tickets for baskets at home basketball games and or 50/50 tickets as well. Also you can donate baskets to raffle off at those games. (We are done with home games for this year but keep in mind for upcoming years) Chaperoning you can volunteer to chaperone and be a part of the fun evening and help in keeping our kids safe and having a fun time for the after prom activities. We do have a group chat with parents in there to keep updated on activities and fundraising events when those happen. If you aren’t in there and would like to be please let us know. It takes a large team to make this event happen and we greatly welcome any who want to be involved and help make this evening successful for all our kids!!!
