Reminder K-6th grade parents the ART Fundraiser orders are due Tuesday, November 8th.
Parent Teacher Conferences will be on Tuesday, November 8 from 4:00-9:00 p.m. We encourage all parents to attend their childs conference. Some teachers may set up a time slot to meet with parents they will reach out to you to do so.

The field trip for the 8th & 9th grade to the MonDak Animal Shelter has been rescheduled for Nov. 18th. We will leave from the school at noon and the students will be provided a bagged lunch provided by our cafeteria ladies.
The two classes will begin putting their fundraisers together for both the MonDak shelter and for Bismarck-Mandan's Furry Friends Rockin' Rescue, that will culminate in Dec before our Christmas break. The kids are learning a lot about the animal shelter & pet adoption situation that they will be using in their semester final persuasive piece of writing.
District 1 C Volleyball action begins tomorrow 10/27 @ Plentywood High School. Our Lady Thunder will take on the Bulldogs of Bainville @ 1 pm CST on court A.

On Friday, Oct. 28th there will be two performances of THE CASTAWAYS. A matinee @ 1:30 pm & an evening performance @ 7pm. ALL 6th & 7th grade students need to be to the school @ 6:30pm. The performances are free of charge, but we do ask that you bring a non perishable item for our October Food Drive. All items will be donated to The Williston Food Bank.
The JH basketball games this weekend vs. Froid/Lake that were originally scheduled for 10/28 in Westby have been moved to 11/1. The Saturday games vs. Savage will either be canceled or rescheduled to a later date.

October 17-19 (Mon-Wed) there will be after school study group for 7th - 12th in the English room. Detention will also be running unless Mr. Paine has been spoken to for rescheduling.

Each night after school from 3:30 to 4:00/4:15 (unless other notified) students 7th-12th. This is not required, nor is it detention - this is a study group for kids who would like to stay to get help or to get some work finished before practices begin. Parents are welcome to join us. Students are allowed to bring a drink & snacks as they study.
On Nov. 2nd, the 11th & 12th grades will be leaving the school at 8:30 a.m. for Mr. Holecek & I will be taking the students to Minot State University to the Native American Cultural Awareness Center for the day. It is imperative that students be at the school at or before 8:30 to load the bus; we will return by 3:30 p.m. This is a graded event for the students and is a part of their unit lessons.
Oct. 28th, the 8th & 9th grade classes will be leaving at 12:00 p.m. for a fieldtrip to Williston's MonDak Animal Shelter as part of their persuasive writing project. We will be returning to the school by 3:30 p.m. This is a graded event as it is part of their overall writing project.
