Announcement from Mrs. Quimby and Mrs. Johnson:
Grenora Public School’s Writer’s Workshop for Grades 6th-12th
Running during Summer School from 10:30 to 12 (dates to be announced) (times may be subject to change)
Mrs. Quimby and Mrs. Johnson will be the advising teachers.
Students will explore the art of writing creatively & academically and practice building skills for next year. The workshop will not be for a grade.
Older students will have the opportunity to work on scholarship essays or ACT prep for the written portion.
There is no cost to the students, and they can bring a drink and a snack to tide them over until lunch.
If interested or would like to sign student/s up, please contact the school or Mrs. Quimby.

Class of 2021 Graduation Commencement Ceremony will be held Saturday, May 22nd @ 5:00 pm CST. 8th grade students will also recognized at this time . Parents of 12th and 8th grade students we will be getting more information out to you by the end of this week.

Dear Music Parents: Volunteers are needed to bring treats and help serve on Monday, May 10th for the Spring concert, which starts at 7pm. We will be serving coffee and lemonade as well. We will need 2-3 volunteers to help make coffee, lemonade, and prep desserts from 5:30 to 6:30 prior to the concert and to help serve following the concert. We will also need 13 pans of bars (approx. 2 dozen each) to be provided. Desserts can be dropped off at the school in the office anytime on Monday or in the kitchen by 5:30. 🎶🥁The Grenora Marching Band will be rehearsing their Band Day routine tomorrow (5/7) on Main Street in Grenora. Feel free to come down from 11:30 -12:00 for a sneak peak of Saturday’s performance. 🎶🥁
