Friday (5/21) will be the last day to order a yearbook.
ATTENTION Parents of 8th Grade Students a letter from Mr Paine:
Congratulations!
Your child has met the requirements to be promoted to the 9th grade. The 8th grade graduation ceremony will be held on May 22, 2021 at 5:00 pm in the Grenora gymnasium.. We will hold a couple of practices next week during school hours allowing the students to get an understanding of their role in the ceremony. a
A few things for the parents to know in preparation for this special occasion.
Please have your graduate at the school by 4:30 pm.
Graduates must be dressed in nice clothes; girls (dress or slacks with a nice shirt) boys (dress pants with a nice shirt). No jeans if possible, this is a special occasion and 8th grade graduates do not wear a robe.
Graduates will assemble a receiving line on the Westside of the gymnasium following the ceremony.
The school will not host a reception following graduation. Each family is responsible for organizing their individual reception if they so choose.
Come enjoy the evening and celebrate the success of these students.

K-12 Awards Day Program is Friday, May 21st @ 1 pm. Parents are welcome to attend. Students will be dismissed for SUMMER BREAK following the Awards Program.

Announcement from Mrs. Quimby and Mrs. Johnson:
Grenora Public School’s Writer’s Workshop for Grades 6th-12th
Running during Summer School from 10:30 to 12 (dates to be announced) (times may be subject to change)
Mrs. Quimby and Mrs. Johnson will be the advising teachers.
Students will explore the art of writing creatively & academically and practice building skills for next year. The workshop will not be for a grade.
Older students will have the opportunity to work on scholarship essays or ACT prep for the written portion.
There is no cost to the students, and they can bring a drink and a snack to tide them over until lunch.
If interested or would like to sign student/s up, please contact the school or Mrs. Quimby.

Class of 2021 Graduation Commencement Ceremony will be held Saturday, May 22nd @ 5:00 pm CST. 8th grade students will also recognized at this time . Parents of 12th and 8th grade students we will be getting more information out to you by the end of this week.
